What is MemeFi?

MemeFi is a Web3 gaming ecosystem built around meme culture. It has attracted over 50 million users through two main games: MemeFi Club and MemeFi Coin. MemeFi Club is a browser platform that combines social interaction and games, while MemeFi Coin is a Telegram click game where players earn revenue through "click-to-earn".

In these games, players collect NFTs and earn rewards by completing tasks, leveling up, and competing with others in “meme tribes.” MemeFi uses two tokens: MEMEFI, which serves as the main token for rewards and governance, and PWR, a stable token used for in-game transactions.

Initially, MemeFi was planned to be launched on Ethereum’s Layer-2 network Linea. However, the project recently announced a shift to Sui’s Layer-1 network.

How to check airdrop eligibility on OKX Wallet

To receive $MEMEFI token in the upcoming airdrop, users will need to verify their eligibility. Here’s how to use the OKX MemeFi Airdrop Checker:

1. Open OKX Wallet App: Visit the Wallet section in the app.
2. Find the Airdrop Checker: Swipe on the home page until you see “Check your MemeFi Airdrop Eligibility”.

4. Connect your Telegram: Follow the prompts to link your Telegram account by entering your phone number.

5. Confirm in Telegram: Open Telegram and approve the connection request from OKX.

Key dates to remember

November 6, 2024: Final snapshot at 12:00 UTC to determine eligibility. This snapshot locks in the list of users eligible to receive $MEMEFI token.

November 8, 2024: Starting at 12:00 UTC, users can check their final token allocation information through OKX Wallet. This information will include data on their in-game activity and Telegram status.

November 12, 2024: On-chain claims will be open on the day of the Token Generation Event (TGE). This will be the official launch of the $MEMEFI token, allowing users to claim their tokens directly on the Sui blockchain.

For users who want to participate in $MEMEFI before the official launch, OKX has introduced pre-market futures trading of MEMEFI. This feature allows users to speculate on the price fluctuations of the token before the TGE.
